@KennyM: very persuasive argument...lucky for you K loves playing Snake Oil. I'd say the percentages are with you. Also? You're free to burn CDs for your friends of ANY of K's songs...that's "fair use" -- and it's invaluable to us. Thank you!

Hello. Long time reader, first time poster about to make a ricockulously arrogant request. I'm bringing a friend to the Glasgow gig. It'll be my sixth Muses/Kristin gig, so as long as she plays some of the new album, I'll be happy. My friend, though, had never even heard of Kristin until a few months ago but has now fallen head over heels in love with her after I gave her a CD of stuff (mostly freely downloaded from here to avoid being an EVIL copyright thief, though I admit I threw in Counting Backwards and Mania because they're, y'know, totally essential). The point is, Snake Oil is now her favourite song in the entire world and it will make her night (not to mention making me even more popular than I already am) if Kristin can fit it into her set for the night.

Go on. Make an old fan happy by making a new fan even happier. Thanks. x

I can honestly say that Kristin doesn't know until the show is happening. The shows are solo-acoustic or solo-electric (like the Shady Circles are and the Borderline gig was), so they can be comprised of almost anything.

My guess is there will be a great variety in the selections. You'll get screaming as well as purring from Kitten Hell.

Hi,
I am from the UK but am on my own 1 year World Tour (travelling, not performing) so I will miss the UK gigs in May. I will be in New Zealand in April and South America in May/June/July,Mexico in Aug and the USA in late Aug/Sept/early Oct. Is there any chance that our itineries will collide.
I have seen Kristen in all 3 manifestations but it seems all too long ago
Heres hoping.
David

Billy & Kristin: thanks again for the tickets, great show last night (though I was worried for a little while that we'd miss the last half again if the tent blew down). As I said before I hope that your trip to Aus has been enjoyable and successful and that you'll come back when you next get the chance,

@andyl: We so appreciate your consideration! The first few nights did get pretty warm and airless. They've since repaired the ventilation issues in the Bosco and it's much more comfortable.

Please email me if you'd like to try again at any point over the next 3 shows. I'll be happy to put you on our guest list. billyo [at] throwingmusic [dot] com

I've lost touch with this forum since I moved to Australia a year ago, and so I hope this is the right place to post this (and not Wild Vanilla).

I was in the audience for Sunday night's PU show with my partner. Unfortunately she started feeling pretty ill about halfway through, and as she was hot, feverish and looked like she was about to pass out I thought it best if we got outside. Once we got in the fresh air she felt a bit better, but she cooled down after a little while and then started shivering uncontrollably, so I think she must have some sort of virus. She's spent most of the last day in bed and feels much better now.

I'd like to apologise to Kristin, Billy and the other people in the audience if we caused any disruption when we left, it was certainly not due to any problems with the quality of the show, the first half was great! I've seen Kristin a number of times in the UK, but Helen was really upset to miss half of the show as it's the first time she's seen her live. We'd both like to wish you luck with the rest of the shows and we hope we can catch you (for a full show) when you're next back down here - don't wait too long.
