Please don't abandon it. Kristin's new 10-4 orchestration is totally transformative, way beyond the novelty of "hey, let me play it with a guitar." The end result is a lot smoother, less choppy than the original (which is a great song, so the "chop" isn't meant to be overly critical), even more bluesy. As yellOwSky says, there is a ton of potential in this song - it isn't just nostalgia. I've always thought it was strange that TM have had this amazing song for over 20 years, yet never performed it live in all that time, and Kristin hadn't even attempted to play it solo until last year. Too bad it seems a bit too tricky to pull off live with a band, as evidenced by the video.
