I've been following K's work for a long time but the quality of her writing here has been on another plane entirely. Truly. It's phenomenal. She deserves so much success with this book. I don't know if thats relevant. I know from my interest in my favourite authors that success comes from the luck in finding an editor/publisher who connects with the work as much as it does from the talent. That editor is out there somewhere. The writing's too deep, too rich, and too strong for it not to be. I've long felt Kristin could be successful with this sort of writing in the same way Henry Rollins has been (and far beyond).
