  1. I've lost touch with this forum since I moved to Australia a year ago, and so I hope this is the right place to post this (and not Wild Vanilla).

I was in the audience for Sunday night's PU show with my partner. Unfortunately she started feeling pretty ill about halfway through, and as she was hot, feverish and looked like she was about to pass out I thought it best if we got outside. Once we got in the fresh air she felt a bit better, but she cooled down after a little while and then started shivering uncontrollably, so I think she must have some sort of virus. She's spent most of the last day in bed and feels much better now.

I'd like to apologise to Kristin, Billy and the other people in the audience if we caused any disruption when we left, it was certainly not due to any problems with the quality of the show, the first half was great! I've seen Kristin a number of times in the UK, but Helen was really upset to miss half of the show as it's the first time she's seen her live. We'd both like to wish you luck with the rest of the shows and we hope we can catch you (for a full show) when you're next back down here - don't wait too long.

  2. Andy and Helen: I have a spare ticket for the Friday 23rd Paradoxical. $25 (ie, face value).

    Cheers

  3. Thanks for the offer Ben, but I think we'd both want to go together (if we were to go again). Hope you enjoy the show!

  4. @andyl: We so appreciate your consideration! The first few nights did get pretty warm and airless. They've since repaired the ventilation issues in the Bosco and it's much more comfortable.

Please email me if you'd like to try again at any point over the next 3 shows. I'll be happy to put you on our guest list. billyo [at] throwingmusic [dot] com

  5. Billy & Kristin: thanks again for the tickets, great show last night (though I was worried for a little while that we'd miss the last half again if the tent blew down). As I said before I hope that your trip to Aus has been enjoyable and successful and that you'll come back when you next get the chance,
    Andy
