   Kristin HERSH is coming to Woods Hole!

   For twenty-five years, Kristin HERSH has been captivating listeners with the singularly unique and personal music she's made with the bands THROWING MUSES, 50 FOOT WAVE, and her own numerous solo albums. Over the past year, she's also been reaching readers as the author of the acclaimed memoir"Rat Girl" (released overseas under the title "Paradoxical Undressing"). This remarkable body of work has deservedly earned her a loyal and devoted audience across the world.

   In her Cape Cod debut (!), Kristin HERSH will be performing a special set that will include songs drawn from her extensive discography (from THROWING MUSES' 1986 debut through "Crooked", her solo record released last year) and reading excerpts from "Rat Girl". Don't miss this rare opportunity to see and hear Kristin play some of the highlights of her exceptional songbook while sharing her stories in an intimate setting!

   Umm, I soooo want to go, but I made promises I need to keep. Just an obeservation, the book dates in N.E. are not on the web site calander. Mabey put them on the Facebook events thing also.

   I think I'll be at the Boston show and I want to go to Woods Hole, too. Is anyone driving down from Boston with an available seat, wanting some gas money?

   I'm still doing everything I can to try to get my son and myself (and maybe even my husband) up there for this, but an 8 hour drive each way is daunting!

    Heather, look in Falmouth. It's just down the street and I think the Holiday Inn isn't too crazy (in comparison to the Bed & Breakfast options nearby, anyway)

    A friend recently stayed at the Sleepy Hollow Motor Lodge for a wedding in Woods Hole. He liked it and it's very close to the show.

    The Seaside Inn in Falmouth Heights Beach looks nice...i haven't booked a room...yet
    what are the chances that they are all booked for Saturday??

    Anyone want to meet up at the British Beer Co. before the show?

    Is anyone driving down from Boston and back from the Woods Hole show tonight? I'm trying to find a ride back to Boston for my friend Melz, who's here from *Finland*. She can get down to Woods Hole but not back. Melz is awesome and would be great company for the drive, please let me know if you can help!
