  1. Am I being a complete numpty, or is there no link to the mix stems on the Crooked download page?

  2. Numpty? Watch your language, young man. This is a family forum.

To answer: I think that for now, we were leaving the stems in their original locations at CASH to allow for some 'breathing room' on that over-crowded download page. Specifically, and maybe more to the point, there are not new stems for each of the final Crooked songs...apart from the ones posted with the demos.

Does that suck? Is it lame? Rizzo's bad at creating this stuff after the fact, or we'd have had new ones done ages ago.

  3. Thanks Billy. Good enough for me. And sorry if that 'n' word is offensive - it's a rather mild insult in the UK - and I did after all attribute it to myself...

  4. You know I was kidding, right? xo B

  5. Well you can't be too careful nowadays. Everything offends somebody somewhere, I find. I often apologise to the world for waking up in the morning, just in case...

  6. Too funny, Robster!

I'm usually pretty good with slang, but may I ask, just what is a "numpty"?

  7. Oops! Double post. Please pardon the impatient luddite move:-)

  8. "Numpty"

    rhymes with humpty dumpty.

    means "a bit Blonde"

    origin, colloquial slang

  9. Dan, go here numpty, for some top definitions

  10. One of my fave words is 'numpty'. It did indeed originate in Scotland and was popularised further afield by Billy Connolly. 'Tis a word everyone should use - after all, we all know a numpty somewhere... I look forward to K using it prominently in a future lyric.
