  1. I am officially re-opening the campaign to transform "Hungry" into a full-band Throwing Muses recording (not sure that I actually opened the campaign back when the song was part of WIP). Please! At least consider it. It's one of those great songs that never went beyond the initial demo. Thanks so much for posting it, along with the beautiful essay.

  2. aaaaaaand No Hard Feelings. Please please?

  3. aaaaaand No Hard Feelings x2

  4. K said that "hungry" was one of the songs that never felt 'real' to her - so that probably shows us where her head is at... also, look at how much distance songwriting-wise is between that song and what she is up to now - and just how many dozens of songs she has penned since then - she would be backtracking. If "Around dusk" [which i find to be so breathtaking] didnt even make it onto the final version of _crooked_ then i seriously doubt "hungry" has a snowball's chance in hell... but hey, i wouldnt mind being proven wrong! I do love the song too...

  5. I totally agree on "hungry" having the same odds as popsicle in hades. Somehow, though, it has managed to resurface, so I can't just sit back and say nothing. Most fans have their pet songs that were never expanded to full-band recordings. It would be very much out of character for Kristin to step back and take another look at something she tossed away nearly a decade ago. Still, it would be cool of Throwing Muses "covered" it, even just in a live set. Dave's drumming would add so much to this one.

Also, I know that this is a thread that would be more appropriate for the fan site, Wild Vanilla. Still, we have the ear of the artist, or at least Billy (who himself has both ears of the artist), over here in this forum.

Not all all! This is a relevant "customer service" issue if ever there was one. We love the fact that you guys have favorite songs that only, like, 4 people know.

    You're a funny man, Billy!
