That's me with the kitten on my head :-)

Love and gratitude from San Francisco!

  5. Neil Martinson is a FANTASTIC DJ and a really nice guy. He used to (or may still?) publish a zine... Wish I could remember the name of it at the moment. But it was GOOD. And of course Paula Frazer needs no introduction. Great lineup! And it's in my old neighborhood, too!! Wish I could go.

Buying the album will have to suffice!

  6. Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home page.

  7. My copy of the album "With a Bow" arrived today via Amazon

  8. Yay! Thanks for the support, Altfish!

Kristin and Billy are San Francisco-bound right now!

  9. Thanks to everyone who came out last night for creating such a lovely evening! Especially, of course, Kristin and Billy for traveling all the way from New Orleans and back to be with us! Everyone was positively glowing by the end of the night.

Did anyone manage to write down a set list? I was running around too much to do it myself. Thanks!

  10. hi everyone! it's been a while since i've visited.

this was so so amazing. and i actually found out about it about 4 hours before it happened! i am a lucky lucky man.

i missed matt piucci but my old friend randy, who performs as carletta sue kay, completely blew the roof off the place.
the upsets surprisingly salved my 90s ida heartaches.
paula frazer delivered me to windswept australian countrysides.
    kristin was fantastic.

everything was being moved along pretty briskly all night, and i noticed that kristin played her songs a notch or two quicker in tempo. dunno if that was consciously to get more in or just the velocity of the music on this evening. i figured it would be a short set and was pleasantly surprised by what i got to see. no setlist but i did see it was recorded. hopefully that will get on archive.org.

  11. Are you on "The Facebook?" We're two "likes" away from 500!

Posting a couple of humble clips from K's set. Other (better?) source clips should emerge in due time.

Here's a direct YouTube link as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NZZcnsAoeg

  12. JED!,

Long time no see. I was just wondering what happened to you the other day. Hope all is well.
