   Hey all,

   it's been a LONG time since I posted in these forums. Like, maybe eight years. I remember when the old throwingmusic.com forum first came online, I think in 1997 right about when Limbo came out.

   ANYway, I'd love to know what all the Muses have been playing on their recent dates. Setlists? (In no exact order is fine too!) Of course, I'll be getting a firsthand dose come Saturday at the Middle East! Yes!!

   Specifically, any new songs being introduced? There still is a new Muses album in the works, right?

   Hi!

   No new songs have been played as far as I know. None in Wellington at any rate :)

   Kristin says she wants to make a TM album, and she's been writing new material; when I talked to her in January she said she had about half a dozen songs.

   On the other hand, as Billy stated here, quote:
   

   There may be a dedicated Muses project yet to come, the band is certainly willing, but for now the plan is to get that new song up every month. Some of these songs will be Muses songs, some not. And either way the goal is to make a new Muses record this year.

   It's a bit more expensive to make a Muses record, so we need to know we can afford it. Throwing Muses means plane tickets, rehearsals, more studio time and other expenses related to having more humans involved. If we get the subscriber base that allows for a larger project, we'll absolutely move on it.

   here's the songs i remember as of right now:
   drive, vicky's box, shimmer, say goodbye, pearl, bright yellow gun, finished.
   i know there was nothing from ramona or tornado, and just one song from tm2000 that i can't think of the name. i'm more old school, and embarrassed to admit that i have not heard the limbo album. as mentioned on another post, the show was heavy on limbo. i haven't seen them play since the real ramona - i got chills on several songs and was so grateful to be there. on to cambridge!
