  2. You teasers

  3. Thats a bit mental.

Next thing we will be told, it is only being released as a stage play, performed by a selection of carnival folk in drag.

    Can't wait.

  4. i really, really, really hope this is serious.

  5. Oh, it's serious...the only thing is the running order. That could change in any number of ways.

  6. what'll be wacky is getting used to the paired fragments being separate, since we've been used to always hearing them next to each other. Although, it's interesting that Curtains/Triangle Quantico and Curtains 2/Triangle Quantico(again) (that's awesome) are still together (twice!). I love that, because at the end of Curtains I feel like I'm at the very top of a roller coaster then you dive right down into the up/down rolling hill section that is Triangle Quantico and that's pretty fantastic.

  7. You are spoiling us rotten! Love you!

  8. holy crap. i'm speechless.

  9. So exciting!

  10. wow...that's a whole lotta presents to open!

  11. Will we get singles?, please say we will get singles! I think one thing that let 4ad down *for me* was lack of singles to promote the albums. They could be mp3 with limited run of collectible cd & possibly VINYL!!
    Just a thought... xo

  12. Yes please on the vinyl, perhaps with a download code. CDs are looking less vital these days...

  13. just what we needed after speculating about the songs that could be there this week. amazing!

  14. oh! oh! Slippershell!

  15. Poor Swollen, never had a shot.

  16. ha! tine, you kill me.

  17. Dang! I'd really thought they'd whittle it down - guess not! It's fucking EPIC... how awesome is that? I'm not sure vinyl and singles are in the budget these days,folks... would be nice though.

  18. Running more than a bit behind, but wow, that's more than I could ever hope for. In both 2003 and 2006, I thought if this is "it" from my favorite band, I'm good, because in theory they've been gone for years. To have so much to look forward to, even potentially? Wow. Just wow...

  19. Brilliant! Epic! The Muses album of dreams! Wicked excited.

@Tine, fantastic observation! ;-) Keep it in the dark.

  20. I'm getting that track list inked on my neck now u HAVE to release all of them ;)

  21. Does it have a name yet?

  22. nope. not yet.

  23. They should just name it "Epic"...

  24. oh my, i can't wait to hear the new muses stuff!

  25. @ tuxedomoongirl: you know you can sorta hear it right? at CASHMusic and Vimeo?

    http://throwingmuses.cashmusic.org and http://vimeo.com/groups/muses/videos

    ...just in case.

  26. Looking back at the studio videos, this one caught my ear. It's both amusing and concerning, listen to what the bloke says at the start and then Kristin bursts in to song!

  27. haha, that's Billy, taken out of context :)

  28. It did make me giggle, though I also wondered what kind of a bizarre life Kristin must have to not react to such a comment, but then I watched again and I think she's talking to someone else.

  29. You know, I'd love to see one or two new songs pop up in the current tour setlist... retrospective is great, but the future is da new thang :)

  30. I wouldn't hold out hope, jelmer. I yelled out "Sunray Venus" in between songs at the Bowery Ballroom show, and some other folks started cheering for it, and Kristin just looked really surprised and said "Wow!" Then people started yelling out requests for "Lazy Eye" and "Milan," but none of them were played. Bernie leaned over and said something to Kristin mid-set, and I was right in front so from what I gathered it seemed they were just remarking to each other that they were surprised (and happy!) to hear requests for the new songs. I think they're stoked to know that people want to hear them, but I don't think they'll break any out until the proper tour for the new album. I think a lot of us are itching to hear the new stuff. Not that we don't like the old stuff! I've seen TM 3 times (2006, 2009 and 2011) and all of the set lists were pretty much the same, give or take a few tracks.
