Thanks for posting this link/article. I'm intrigued by the structures of the songs, if not spellbound by her voice. I need to listen some more... :)
Yes, the voice is an acquired taste, and I don't suppose there were any other women with record deals then that sounded like her. I like her lyrics, too, especially Roving Woman.
