Ah, the joys of book publishing. Everything takes 18 months. I don't miss working on that time schedule, I have to admit. Still, it's nice to know she landed at Penguin--a good house in most respects. :)

Heh! I design book interiors and covers and I've certainly worked for a few publishers that took dumb over good!
But it's great to hear that K has signed with Penguin - they're a quality publisher. I guess the long process is the price you pay to get proper editing, marketing, production, etc..
