  1. Hey Guys,

I'm just curious about why Power + Light has only been released as vinyl. Does Kristin feel breaking the album into tracks (as you'd have to on cd or itunes) disrupts the way the album is supposed to be enjoyed (as one continuous track with several movements).

It's such an amazing piece of work and I fear it's gotten lost in the shuffle. Any plans to release it on itunes in the future?

Sorry if this has been discussed already . . .

    Thanks always,

    James

  2. Hi titleTK,

You don't need to go all the way to iTunes. Just go to: http://50footwave.cashmusic.org/
This will get you to the Power+Light home page.
Just right click on MP3 and "save target as"... away. The MP3 is nice as it's one continuous 25 minute track. An even better experience than having to flip the vinyl imo. You can even get the FLAC version if you want to be "audiophile" about it. This should be considered one of the best releases of 2009!

Oh' be sure to donate... Direct to the artist is better than to iTunes anyway

    Enjoy

  4. I looooove Power and Light. I had to clear out some junk on my iPod and a lot of songs that are pretty long ended up biting the dust (10mins+), but Power and Light - despite taking up a remarkable amount of space - stayed right on in there. I've also got it backed up onto disc, in case of any problems. :-)
