I just downloaded it for iBook and haven't gotten to that yet.
What's the lyric?
the line is: "it occurred to me that someone might not understand our world." I looked it up but didn't find anything... anyone?
The Season Sessions are supposed to feature previously unrecorded Muses songs, so we'll probably be hearing it soon...

If I remember correctly, "Rat" became, "Mania" -- or at least part of it did. I can't find Kristin right now but when I do, I'll ask and post a correction if need be.
Correction (as promised): The song, "Rat" didn't become "Mania"...it was, in K's words, "more of a 'song' than Mania is..." The only recording the Muses ever had of the song was stolen from Dave and they were never able to recapture it.
@beestung - I'm not sure how you got the idea that the Season Sessions were comprised of previously unrecorded Muses songs, because they're not. They're K and Dave doing songs from the book in acoustic session recordings. Is it something we said that gave you the wrong impression?
The Season Sessions are meant to be a bonus for readers of the book, especially those unfamiliar with the Muses...but hopefully which all will enjoy. I really like the recordings:

Did anyone send Jon Stewart a copy of the book? Imagine - Kristin on the Daily Show. Kristin Hersh and Jon Stewart. Minds would be blown for sure.
seconded the daily show recommendation! dunno if jon stewart (or even colbert) know from throwing muses/kristin hersh, but i think either would be great venues to get the word out about the book.
The Muses were on the last Jon Stewart Show ever...They played Shimmer. It was cool. So, yeah, he probably still knows the Muses, at least. He outros them in this clip:

Ya, hat I pictured was the guest proframmer, where you get to chitchat with Osborne and pick 4 movies - I could see chitchat starting with Betty, and spiraling off into the wonders of Technicolor and the Monkees...
Just watched that Jon Stewart video. Man, Dave is tearing it up. Such a great drummer - I hope the Muses are able to get out and play some shows after this new album is recorded.
