That's an excellent review, concise and descriptive, paints the picture.
The "Is this music" review is very odd, it seems the author is trying too hard be a writer and failing, she uses more words to say less. It's gratuitously peevish in tone, a pity she didn't post before and after photos of herself so readers could judge if the years have been "especially kind" to her "in the 24 or so years since I last saw them live".
God, that "Is this music" review is woeful. Shame on Betty, whoever she is.

Hello all - I'm de-lurking to let you know there is a review from the Cardiff gig here - unsurprisingly we loved it! (It's really nice reading through the threads here by the way - it must be lovely for the band to know just how happy they are making people - can't wait for the new record!)
