(PS - Billy, I sent you an email (t-shirts) - I know you're busy and I hate to bother you (but I guess I am anyway....) but when/if you have time to read it, just a Yay or Nay will do)
Still buzzing, guys... we'll be buzzing for quite a while... thanks for everything!
Since last week, I've been thinking about the kookaburra in Hyde Park. At the time, it seemed odd. I've never seen one so close to the city. They're woodland birds. So I decided to look into it. I wasn't particularly illuminated.
Then I read an article which said that seeing a silent kookaburra is said to be symbolic of strong families, joy and laughter. Additionally it can symbolise turning hurt into happiness, hunting down your truths, and teaching and sharing these truths with others.
That made me smile.
It felt like all that I had experienced and felt at, and around, Paradoxical Undressing was sitting there on the fence, even though I didn't recognise it at the time. The shows themselves were amazing, I can't do them justice here. But the whole package, the family feel that was conveyed, made me feel like I'd just eaten something organic, boutique and wholesome. Like a really crisp green apple.
And so I'd like to say thank you.
I hope your journey is safe, I hope your travels are populated with other animals, like the anomolous kookaburra, and I hope your trail will lead you back to Sydney sometime,
xx Jen
