  1. Just got home and still buzzing. A great, great show. Only the third time I've seen the Muses (Clapham Grand early 90s and Astoria 2003) but this was outstanding. Dave and Bernie tight as can be, Kristin's voice never better. Set list similar to Bexhill except Mexican Women swopped for Hate My Way. Final encore a scorching Devil's Roof followed by the sweetest rendition of White Bikini Sand. What more can I say? I love this band, always have done, always will.

  2. Ditto. Did anyone else notice Dave’s Wailing Wall rocking during the quiet bits of ‘Pearl’? Was he worshipping his kit? His drumming was a thing of great beauty tonight. Thank you so much for the chance to see TM again.

  4. Great show, so pleased to hear hate my way, devil's roof, and white bikini sand

  5. Have to agree - well worth making the trip down from Manchester to see the Shepherd's Bush gig, and a very good set all round. The stalls were pretty packed, almost made me wish I'd got a seat in the next tier up to take it all in.

I wonder who "The Fish guy" was? It wasn't me but I was trying to spot who was calling for it to be performed during the main set.

I tweeted after the show to say how much I enjoyed it and Kristin tweeted me back (thank you SO much for that - made my day when I got home! :) - I tweet @zawtowers if anyone's interested.

  6. It was fairly busy upstairs too, I bought a ticket for level 2 but was told that they weren't going to open it.

Loved White Bikini sand to close with.

Were there not two songs before Shimmer?

Quite amusing seeing Dave in shorts in England in November.

  7. Were there not two songs before Shimmer?

No - it was all "Soul Soldier", but there was a slight pause as they shifted between the 2 distinct halves of the song, and some people in the audience applauded what they thought was the end.

Great show, though rather too weighted toward the later years (though that's what this line-up produced). Would have liked something from "Real Ramona". I suppose the earlier stuff sounds better with 2 guitars. It wasn't too different from seeing them in '03, when they ended with "Two Step".

  8. Fish and White Bikini Sand from the show (AUD, FLAC 16bit 44.1KHz) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9NJCN8CB

Presumably the Sushi lady dropped a hint, whilst the Fish guy got straight to the point (?!)

  9. it says 'file unavailable' :(

  10. Seems to be working okay now, many thanks for this. Any chance of the whole set? :)

  11. really? I've tried multiple browsers. bummer. I can't get enough of White Bikini Sand, too.

  12. Mirror: http://www.depositfiles.com/files/oa9fms8r1 MU is often a bit buggy on weekends :/

Hopefully get the rest of the set done sometime soon

  13. yay! got it! now i can listen to White Bikini Sand over and over and over a bit more easily than before. It's soooooo beautiful. Thank you...

  14. Damn, I did so want to see this. I hope you'll be back in the UK before too long.
