  1. We've just confirmed that on Friday night at 11.30 pm Kristin will be doing a special, surprise gig in the Bosco tent here at the Sydney Festival. She'll be doing songs from the Shady Circle -- and possibly a few others.

Tickets are $20 and on sale from 4.00pm at the Box Office or at the door if still available.

    Hope you can make it!

  2. Damn! It's such a busy time of year. If only I could be in 5 places at once :(

    Can someone please tape this?

  3. dang! In a heartbeat, if I lived in Sydney. not too sure at this stage but will try.

  9. Hey there BillyO:

Too bad I can't swap my spare Paradoxical ticket for a ticket to this late-night show.

    ...or could I!?

(I left all you guys alone when you headed out to noodles last Friday. I didn't want to be s stalker fan. Then I find out afterwards I could have come backstage with Matt and muser? Jealous....)

    Cheers

    Ben

  10. I'm there fer sure... go on, Aprill/ muser... you can do it...

  11. @zbender: Sure, why not? Email me your name for the list, Ben and I'll hook it up...as for your spare ticket, well, you could leave it for me at the box office...but don't go out of your way.

  12. @billyo, I just sent you an email to billyo at symbol throwingmusic.com.

I hope that's the right address!

    Cheers,

    Ben

  14. Hi, this is my first post (hello) - found info on the Sydney Festival site [url=http://www.sydneyfestival.org.au/2009/SF09_news/_item/_news/SAMSUNG_MOBILE_SECRET_SHOWS__REGISTER_NOW]; or to quote:

Tickets for Samsung Mobile Secret Shows are available from 5pm on the day of the performance at the Samsung Mobile Festival Garden box office with a limit of two tickets per person.

I'm going to try to make it.

    Cheers
    Tim

  15. Sorry...thought I answered this. They told us 4pm...but I'd believe their message.

  16. Hey, I'm new here too. Just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone involved in organising the secret show. I ran out of work to get tickets when I read the news. I'm going to see Paradoxical Undressing tomorrow night, saw one of the best concerts last friday - throwing Muses at the Becks bar and tonight a special Kristin show! I have enjoyed so much Kristin goodness, I am spoilt.

  17. no worries. got there shortly after 4pm just in case. see y'all tonight, can't wait! judging from chat in the queue you picked up a few random people walking past who saw the sign!

  19. ps: see you on sunday :D

  20. Thanks for posting those pics. I'm so sorry to have missed it but I'll get my 2nd fix on Sunday.

  21. that was so much fun last night, thanks guys! everyone loves songs about death :D sorry i couldn't stay to say hi, had to rush off to get late public transport (ugh)

  22. Loved last night's show too. I was mesmerized by the songs and by Kristin's voice. It was such a great atmosphere in that tent. When they started the air conditioning, it blew the smoke around the stage and it looked absolutely magical. Which sums up the whole night.

  23. Just wanted to say what a pleasure it is seeing all these new faces popping up as a result of K's being in Oz.
Great little show last night... unexpected high points for me were Mississippi Kite & Dusty Road. I've heard recordings, but live & fairly loud is the go for songs like that.
