I had the same trouble, Heather.
Once it's "flipped out" the shiny parts should be facing "up"
Then slide it into the bottom portion of the USB slot...Once it's seated, all should be well.
ok. got that sorted. the flashdrive is almost too wide to fit in the port.
i forced it a little...my ports are vertical and I shoved it in the right one with the shiny
side facing left....it's working now!! yaaaaaaaa

Suzy, it will definitely work in your Mac (unless maybe you are plugging into your keyboard and there is a physical reason why it won't fit there as sometimes happens with certain usb sticks).
Look in the port. See the white rectangular thing in there. the stick slides next to that thing, with the contacts facing it.
Not a sausage, unfortunately.

I bought one of the flashdrives last night; people on here are describing how it 'pops out' - how do I make it do that?
I don't want to force it as I'm a clumsy bugger who'll break it.
Mike, you kind of have to force it to open the first time...very hard to describe, but are you coming to any other shows? I can show you.
And the content is: the 2 CD anthology in Apple Lossless format, the 30+ pages of hi-res booklet art (as a PDF) and a live, television concert of Throwing Muses appearance at Primavera Sound filmed by the Spanish channel TV3.

I'm hopeful that I'll be able to buy one of the TM Flash drives from the KH store sometime after this international tour. What I really wish is that I could make it to one of the shows and see my favorite band again. It's been so long.

My wife gave birth to our second daughter at the start of this tour, and so I didn't make it to any of the dates.
