The whole project sounds like a great and very original idea; I’m really curious to see (and hear) the result. On the other hand: I wouldn’t have been sad at all if I had learnt that Kristin Hersh were to produce just another old fashioned plastic cd record. I would have bought it an listened to it a lot, just like I did with all the other cd records she’s made so far.

Sounds really exciting, I can’t wait for the book – I’m sure it will really enhance the whole experience of Crooked.

BTW will there a vinyl edition available as well as the commercial CD?

I like this new look a lot. It has a nice feel to it. It looks inviting, and everything is easier to find. Very nice job. I can hardly wait to find that nice surprise in the mailbox.

I’m really looking forward to reading more of ‘Paradoxical Undressing’ (I so prefer that name), and seeing all these other endeavors. The endless layering of work upon work is amazing with the new 50′ ~, the Muses demos, the Box, CDs, books. The level of creativity is astonishing, really. Thank you so much.

Ahh, OK I wasn’t grasping that the book doesn’t include a CD. I’m actually glad about that because between the regular release I’ll get as a Strange Angel and possibly “The Box”, I would’ve been hesitant to purchase *another* version of the album with a redundant CD.

I buy CD’s anymore for the art and packaging anyway, rip the CD to my PC (if I haven’t already downloaded it, which is easier than ripping 99% of the time) and then the CD is never used again so this book idea is brilliant. Can’t wait to hear the outtakes as I know everyone had their favorite CASH track from the past 2 years that didn’t end up on the album due to the limited space.

That’s the other great thing about digital files, you can always just add them right back in.
